Quickline Crane is searching for an experienced Mobile Crane Operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a team player, and is willing to contribute to the success and progress of the work site.
Job Description
- Safely operate various cranes from 55 to 330 tons. Types of cranes include rough terrain, crawler, and all-terrain cranes
- Ability to work as part of a team to dismantle and assemble crawler cranes
- Operate crane to lift and relocate various materials around the job site
- Operate crane to safely lift and set precast wall panels and structural steel for building applications
- Assist install crew when needed, and prepare for building erection (layout, screw piles, cleaning the up site, etc.)
- Safely mob and de-mob cranes to and from job sites
- Keep continuous communication with the ground crew for safe and efficient operating day-to-day
- Perform preventative, current, and ongoing maintenance and light-duty repairs on cranes
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Journeyman Heavy Boom certification
- Valid Standard First Aid, B.C. Crane Safe and Fall Protection
- Acceptable driver’s abstract
- Full-time position, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
- 5 years of experience operating mobile cranes
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test anytime
- Leadership focused with consistent accuracy and emphasis on safety
- Physically fit with the ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
Assets
- Experience operating Liebherr, Grove and Tadano cranes
- Journeyman Mobile Crane certification
- Registered apprentice to operate a mobile crane
