Overview
We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Tailings Team in a Fly In, Fly Out position.
As a Dozer Operator, you will play a crucial role in performing groundwork within the tailings area of our mine. With provided flights to/from Edmonton/Calgary or bussing from Fort McMurray, along with camp accommodation, you can focus on your work while enjoying a balanced 7/7 schedule with 12-hour shifts. If you have a valid driver's license, CSO or BSO certification, and a minimum of 2000 hours of cell/pond experience operating a D8+ Dozer, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
- Operating a Dozer in a tailings cell
- Carrying out groundwork in the tailings area of the mine
- Operate assigned heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures and standards.
- Participate in all safety and culture-strengthening programs.
- Train on new equipment when requested.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with 3-year driver's abstract required.
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or Basic Safety Orientation(BSO).
- A minimum of 2000 hours of cell/pond experience operating a D8+ is required.
- Open pit mining experience is an asset.
- You will be responsive to customer needs
- High school diploma and post-secondary degree an asset
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
Other important details
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of a drug and alcohol testing.
